Geez louise...what a fun concert!!! Me, Garret, Amber and Greg loaded up in the new Malibu and headed north to the Glen Helen Pavilion in San Bernadino. We got lost...but just for a moment. Luckily, On Star saved our lives. Once we got there, we popped open the trunk, cracked open some beers, and hung out with locals (you can see how the locals live above...behind me and Garret in the picture.)

We had a great time tailgating...we saw some EXTREMELY interesting people! I am planning on doing a blog, dedicated to those lovely folks, a little later today or tomorrow. After we all had a few beers, we headed inside. Amber and I got a margarita (which was DELICIOUS) and a funnel cake (which was scrumptious)!!! We had seats in the lawn section, so we walked around a little bit (and got tattoos at the Go Country booth) before we sat down on the grass. After about 5 minutes in the grass, Garret decided to sneak us down to actual seats. It was really easy...even though me and Amber were nervous!!! So we watched Montgomery Gentry and most of Toby Keith from the middle section. Towards the end, Garret made all of us jump a fence (SUPER SCARY) in front of all these security guards and we made it up to the front..like 6 rows from Toby!!! It was awesome. He put on a great concert. It's my second time seeing him and he gets better every time!!!

It was one of the best concerts ever!!!

It's almost Friday!!! One more day of hell (AKA work) and it will be the weekend. We have a fun weekend lined up. Cowboy country on Friday night (Go Country will be there) and then on Saturday, Amber, Garret, me and Greg are headin out to the Glen Helen Pavilion to see Montgomery Gentry and Toby Keith!!! It should be a great day. Two of my favorite country artists, my boyfriend and beer! What can beat that? :)

Vegas baby, Vegas!!!

Time travel back to June 6th, 2008 with me!!!

Me, Garret, Vicki, Nelson, Amber and Greg all headed out to Las Vegas. Amber bought ALL OF US tickets to see Kenny Chesney for Greg's 22nd B-day. Garret hooked us up with rooms at the MGM Grand (our favorite hotel) and we all stayed there Friday and Saturday. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!

On the way to Vegas, we stopped at the state line and rode the rollercoaster, Desperado. Amber was terrified! LOL. We finally made it to Vegas, early Friday morning. We checked into our rooms and Vicki started blending up some drinks. We did a "Welcome to Vegas" shot altogether and then we hit the pool and lazy river. The lazy river was amazing. We found a great little cove and spent most of the day there.

Later that night, we went to the Leanne Rimes and Kenny Chesney concert. It was the best concert I have ever been to (besides Gwen Stefani)!!!!

The next day, we spent the day at the pool and lazy river again and then got dressed for the evening. We ended up at me and Garret's favorite bar, The Toby Keith bar. We got a great table, right by the stage and we had the best dinner! Greg got a special birthday drink (as seen in a pic above) and Amber helped him out with it. LOL.

Overall, the weekend in Vegas was the best weekend ever. Garret and I won some money, got cute matching Kenny Chesney shirts and we all had a great time with each other....Vicki even threw margarita on a prosititute! LOL (long story...)

I can't wait for the next Vegas trip...it's by far my favorite place to go with Garret.

On July 7th, 2008 Garret and I celebrated our one year anniversary. For our anniversary, I bought him a Chevy Black Billet grill for this new truck. He loves it.

And Garret bought me a promise ring! Also, he had my favorite flowers (purple roses) and balloons delivered to my work. I love him so much. He means the world to me. He makes me so happy, day in and day out. He is not only my boyfriend, he's also my best friend. We have so much fun together, no matter what we are doing. I love you, Garret. Thanks for the best year ever....

Brad Paisley Concert on June 14th

(Backtracking....)

I really want to post about a few events that happened a few weeks ago...so I'm going to take you back in time a little bit.

This is when we went to the Brad Paisley concert on June 14th. It was a really good show. We had pretty good seats but towards the end of the concert, Garret snuck us down to the very front row. We could almost reach out and touch Brad! At the end, they were throwing items off the stage and Garret caught one of the drum sticks! He was very excited!!!

Garret and I try to go to as many country concerts as possible....so far we have been to Toby Keith (w/ Miranda Lambert), Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Go Fest (Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Jason Michael Caroll), George Strait (w/ Little Big Town), Stagecoach (Tim McGraw, Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Big & Rich, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, etc...just to name a few from there), and Brad Paisley.

Next concert: Toby Keith & Montgomery Gentry on July 12th!!!

4th of July

4th of July

I hope everyone's 4th of July was super fun. Ours was! A little too fun, actually.....I think I had two...three...nine drinks too many!!!

We had a 4th of July bash at the Claborn's. Everyone and their mom (literally) came!!!

We had a kiddie pool filled with ice and over 150 beers....Julie made scooby snacks (I think that is what did me in...), Amber and I made blue and red jell-o shots the night before....and Garret's mom managed to use an entire HUMONGOUS bottle of Bacardi in her tub of booze! We played poker, did fireworks, went swimming, and did a few....a lot...of shots. It was so much fun. I can't wait until the next 4th of July. Although, I think I can live without the massive headache!!!

First Blog!!!

Okay here we go! I just saw my friend Julie Sanford's blogspot and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I decided to copy her!!!

I don't really know what to put on this blog....I guess this Blog Spot will be all about me and then Garret...and then me and Garret combined. We take a lot of little trips, go to a lot of concerts and events, so I hope this page eventually becomes extremely entertaining!!!
